Eye Surgery?

In my STEAM class Cure, this unit has been different from others because we have been e-learning via chats, and meetings. The class and I studied the Hippocratic oath and the difference between a doctor and a healer. We learned about cells, mitosis, and meiosis, and also practiced conic sections. Took virtual FE's and spoke with Dr. Neeraj Jain, a doctor who specializes in pain medicine at Hinsdale hospital. As well as Kellee Athens, who knows much about the Zika Pandemic. For this AP we were tasked to choose surgery and study it very thoroughly. In which, we had to explain a person that has had this surgery performed, and how their organs, tissues, and cells were affected by the surgery. For me, I chose Corneal Abrasion. Even the littlest procedure can be the biggest.

In conclusion, this AP was challenging to complete because of the way of learning. Other than that I really enjoy doing the research in my project.  Thank you for reading my presentation. Stay hopeful and well.
