Buster and the Owl.

In my class, Stories we have been talking about and learning about characteristics of words, stories, and meanings of it. We also have been studying fables, which this is. Fables are when stories are based on fictional characteristics of real people, it's very close to children's books. In that fable, we are supposed to have a protagonist and antagonist which gives the story base on the additional characteristics in the story. Hopefully, you enjoy my Fable story called "Buster and the Owl"! Enjoy.....

BUSTER AND THE OWL
One day in the woods there was a little fox named Buster. He regularly smiling and playing around with other animals and basically enjoying life. He would practice hunting for food so when he got older he can be able to hunt for big and real food. But Buster always had a listening problem. Other animals would tell him and show him new things to do and he would not listen or do it, so I would say he’s a pretty stubborn fox.

He awoke the next day, getting ready for school; he walks out and every day he leaves he will always notice this owl. In his mind, he would always wonder “Why is this Owl always here looking at me? What does he want?”. On top of the tree branch will be an owl telling him to have a good day at school.

Buster thought it was weird a couple of times, but he simply ignored and got over it. He would converse back with the owl and say “Thank you, you to”, with a kind smirk on his face. Another day went passed there was an incident when Buster was at school. Buster headed to lunch with a worm and cheese sandwich, apple juice and a container of insects. He wasn’t able to buy himself lunch, because his mom couldn’t afford it. Some kids saw what he was eating and laughed as they grabbed his lunch box throwing it across the lunchroom.

He yelled “STOP! PLEASE!” but the boys didn’t stop. Buster was tired of how they were making him look, so he walked up to one of the boys and punched him the face and walked over to the other one and did the same. He looked around noticing people were looking at him so he quickly grabbed his lunch box and ran out of the school.

He walked past the owl again and the owl saw the look on his face, so the owl came flying down from the tree to talk to him. Owl asked him “What’s wrong son, don’t lie cause that look shows me everything?” Buster responses saying “Oh… the kids at my school keep bullying and making fun of me so I hit them and ran out the classroom”. “Oh man,” said the owl “you should have never done that”. Buster ran back to his cave and cried because he felt bad and very emotional that that had happened.

He didn’t want that incident to turn out the way it did, but he was still angry that the teacher didn’t do anything about it. Sooner or later, Mr.Owl came to his cave and tried to talk to Buster. Buster did not want to talk to Mr.Owl he felt ashamed, he hid under his covers. Mr.Owl slowly came into his room and sat on the couch, he said: “Are you ready to listen?” Buster came from out of the cover and looked at Mr.Owl, saying “No, I don't wanna listen to you! Leave me alone." Mr.Owl left Buster's room.

The next morning, Buster left out for school. As he was walking he saw Mr.Owl. He did not want to speak to Mr.Owl because he was still mad at him. Mr.Owl greeted Buster like he didn't know Buster was mad at him, and Buster still didn't answer he just looked at him with a mean face.

In school, Buster was called to the office for what he did at school. Before he's now realizing he should have listened to Mr.Owl and not cut him off. Couldve heard great words from him.
